On this field trip, you will discover a new way to create music made possible by our ability to take real-life audio recordings and turn them into instruments. Animals provide the beautiful songs and sounds that bring the music to life.

On the field trip you will:

• Listen to classical music performed with tuned animal sounds instead of traditional instruments.
• Listen to the original recordings of the animals before hearing them 'perform' the second piece, "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy."
• Listen to blended animal samples create their own unique vocal identity.
• Play three sound-match games to see if you can identify animal sounds in other musical arrangements.
